I hope and pray that you take time to ponder before acting and speaking. I sincerely doubt you overthink anything. I pray for leaders of governments, CEOs, military leaders, and other public and private corporation leaders and managers throughout the USA, Canada, Mexico, UK, France, India, Australia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Africa, Central & South America and Eurasia. I pray that YOU bless them with wisdom to lead, fulfill their desires within YOUR will, purge each of desires against YOUR will, and enable them to be a blessing for those they lead and manage. 'Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead in the way everlasting.' [Psalm 139:23-24 ESV]
LORD I pray that YOU renew the mind of each adopted son and daughter who reads this prayer, through the washing of YOUR Word. 'Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.’' [Philippians 4:8-9 ESV]
I lift disabled individuals including veterans, service members, EMT firefighters, policemen and women and their family members to YOU dear LORD. I pray that YOU guide the mind, hands and feet of each person caring for, treating, and ministering to them and bless them with goodness, compassion and kindness. ‘For He has not despised or detested the torment of the afflicted. He has not hidden His face from him, but has attended to his cry for help. [Psalm 22:24 ESV]
I lift the mentally unstable, the manic, the insane, those with significant head injuries including PTSD, ana others whose thinking has been adversely affected. I pray that YOU deliver them from recurring troubling dreams. I pray that YOU guide the mind, hands and feet of each person caring for, treating, and ministering to them and give them endurance and compassion. ‘I will rejoice and be glad in your steadfast love, because you have seen my affliction; you have known the distress of my soul, and you have not delivered me into the hand of the enemy; you have set my feet in a broad place. Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am in distress; my eye is wasted from grief; my soul and my body also.’ [Psalm 37:7-9 ESV]
I pray for parents of schoolchildren and their teachers in public and private schools that YOU bless them with wisdom, discernment and ability to explain to the younger children how to respectful to others and how to get out of difficult situations in school this year. LORD I pray that YOU protect the innocent and don’t allow them to become prey. ‘Can wicked rulers be allied with you, those who frame injustice by statute? They band together against the life of the righteous and condemn the innocent to death. But the LORD has become my stronghold, and my God the rock of my refuge. He will bring back on them their iniquity and wipe them out for their wickedness; the LORD our God will wipe them out. [Psalm 94:20-23 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Friday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Saturday morning.
