There has been many discussions, videos and more addressing the issue of a Moon Base... Okay, that is a cool thing to do since there is a commitment to return Man to the Moon, not for a few hours or even a few days, but for much longer periods of time...
"United States, Europe, Arab Emirates, Russia, India, China, Japan... Suddenly, everyone wants to go to the Moon. But why? In the same way, nowadays we have the feeling that setting foot on the Moon and building bases there is no longer a scientific dream, but only the necessary application of what we now know how to do." - Insane Curiosity.
Okay, so here are a few questions (but by no means all), which need answers:
1) Where do we put a Moon Base, as water is a Primary concern?
2) How big must the Moon Base be?
3) How many persons must it support?
4) What foods will the astronauts eat?
5) What materials will be used to build it?
6) How do we protect the astronauts from the Sun's radiation?
7) How do we make Oxygen for human breathing and for a fuel component?
8) How do we process water ice on the Moon to produce both the Oxygen we need and the Hydrogen for fuel?
9) What tool must be shipped to the Moon to effect building the Moon Base?
and the list goes on...
This video Addresses most of the common questions raised and perhaps a few more not mentioned...
I present this to you as information only to pique your interest enough for you to think of all that has to be done if we are to build a Scientific Moon Base...
I hope you find it both interesting, and challenging for mankind.
