Apparently COVID also causes lateral curvature of the spine.
Dr. Brittany Bankhead-Kendall is a critical care physician. If you look at her entire quote on TWITTER,
she says it’s a rarity that any of **** HER **** COVID-19 patients X-rays come back without dense scarring.
She see's a subset of the worst of the worst of COVID patients. She does not claim that all or even a majority of COVID patients experience such lung scarring.
CBS is trying to scare you. It is either intentional and you should be asking yourself why? Or it is just lazy and irresponsible sensationalizing.
