Peter Stager has been arrested at his home in Conway after reportedly beating a police officer with an American flag during the Capitol riot on Jan. 6.
According to a federal affidavit, the officer was from the Washington D.C. Police Department and was guarding the entrance to the Capitol when a mob pulled him down the stairs and attacked him.

Our flag has been misappropriated for nefarious purposes and some of us would like to get it back. The insane symbolism of traitors trying to beat their twisted brand of patriotism into anyone who opposes them is exactly what's wrong with this failed movement. The false patriotism, hypocrisy and continued gas lighting, all based on a "Big Lie" didn't work. This seditious event compares to absolutely nothing in the last four years. Nothing even comes close and none of this will end well for those who participated. The first person who responds with a debunked conspiracy theory or denies the outcome of a free and fair election wins a prize.
