If we want America to be America and not divided, we need more of this. Not what's been happening. Not divisive elected officials trying to keep everyone apart. Everyone is ignorant at some point in their life -and ignorant solely means "lack of knowledge or information." So if you don't know something, educate yourself on it and learn. If anything I can take from my experience from the military when I retire in a few years, that I got to learn about other cultures, other demographics, other types of people. I never would have done that in rural Nebraska because where I grew up, they hate change. They hate people who are different. They hate outsiders. (Yes, hate I saw it).
