It was an attempted Coup orchestrated by Trump and his allies in the media, the US House and US Senate. An attempted Coup. An attack upon our Country by its own citizens.
Now lets talk gun rights. Thanks to Trump and his supporters restrictions on Gun Rights are coming and there is nothing we can do to stop it. Trump and his supporters set the table for it to happen through their actions. Any questions in regards to Constitutionality of restrictions on the Second Amendment have been thrown out the window. The actions of 6 January provided even a Conservative Supreme Court all that is needed to allow restrictions on the Second Amendment to implemented. Thanks to Trump and his supporters actions:
When the government infringes on a fundamental right the government must have a compelling state interest? The government may infringe upon the right through a showing that the regulation or law is necessary to achieve a compelling state interest.
They have that now thanks to Trump and his supporters actions on 6 January when an attempted Coup took place.

I don't how long you've been paying attention to the attacks of liberals on our constitution but the threat to our 2nd amendment has been going on for about a century now. To be clear, the 2nd is the last check and balance to a corrupt government. You being a Sgt have taken the same oath I and all who served have. When the day comes it will be to you to decide if you stand for your oath to defend the constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic. I'll be standing.

SGT Bruce Savage - I can guarantee you this. I've done more in the area of protecting our 2nd Amendment Rights then you have. I've brought over 100 women into the gun hobby. I was the first female to shoot IPSC in my area. And every time this issue pops up here in my community I'm there to beat it back but now thanks to Trump and his supporters they have pulled the rug out from under me and others by providing "A Compelling State Interest" in restricting the 2nd Amendment. All thanks to Trump and his supporters actions on January 6. People on the fence are no longer on the fence. Some gun owners are now willing to accept restrictions on their Rights due to the actions of Trump ,his allies and his supporters on January 6. The genie is out of the bottle and we are screwed.
