General Flynn's comment is beyond irresponsible.
That said, if you want to put this nonsense to bed, let people look at the process and the documentation to their hearts content. If you don't, the Biden administration will have to put up with the gadflies until the inauguration of 47th President.
I live in Antrim Michigan. I was shocked as Hell when Michigan went for Trump in 2016, and it didn't really surprise me that it went for Biden in 2020. I live in the now "infamous" Antrim County. We are so red state in this county that I cannot remember the last time a Democrat ran for local office. I know the County Clerk. She was so shocked by the initial count that she initiated a re-count on her own, and most of us don't really understand. But if Sherry Comben, Antrim County Clerk says the new count is accurate, I believe her.
I am shocked, and everyone I know, even Democrats are skeptical that President Trump only carried the county with 54% of the vote after the recount and corrected results. You couldn't find enough Biden campaign signs to wall paper a two-hole outhouse in this county. (OK that's a bit of an exaggeration, but its fun to say.)
What is shocking to me is that Jocelyn Benson (D) the Michigan Secretary ordered the County Clerks to destroy certain election documentation outside of the normal destruction schedule. It may be perfectly innocent, but at this time, in this election it was a STUPID edict on her part. It will only serve to fuel speculation of something "squirrelly." The easiest way to put this crap behind us is to let people go through the documentation until the cows come home, not destroy it.

Oh whatever. I'm not surprised at all how this election turned out. Just because Biden supporters aren't buying Biden merch or any of that doesn't mean shit. I know a LOT of Republicans who left the Republican party in the last 4 years. They aren't Dems. But they aren't Trump fans either.

If you read my comment, I too am not surprised how the election turned out at the state level. But Antrim County is one of the least populated counties in the lower Peninsula, so it doesn't have much impact on state wide results. I am surprised that about 28% of the vote within the county flipped from the 2016 election. There was certainly no obvious indicators that such a dramatic shift would take place.
None of this explains the need for an expedited destruction schedule for election related documents. Nor do I understand the downside of allowing people to examine the election documentation. To me it seems the best way to put the election behind us.
