It's a strong list, but you don't have to live in DC to get the benefits of the Capitol; suburbia isn't bad living

No... suburbia is not bad living at all. However, if you are a young person, single and working in the district, and you want to be "close to the action..." DC isn't bad. I live in suburbia, it is quiet and I know all my neighbors.

Suburbia isn’t bad living at all, but you better be in an electric vehicle, on a cycle, or riding with 3!

Having been in and out of there and calling that place home for more than 40 years (Fort Meade), it is truly a treasure trove of leisure, customs, traditions and tastes!

Depends on how much you will be making. The dc area is expensive. You can always get a place in the outer burbs and commute in. Traffic sucks too.
