It makes me sick to my stomach that Trump, the right, and some of the GOP are willing to turn the constitution and democracy upside down in a power grab. This is an indictment against them as they attack the sacred principles of the constitution and democracy. Trump is attempting a bloodless coup. If Trump wins, it means America will no longer be a democracy and Trump would be a dictator. Many people are supporting a proposed dictatorship. What is sacred anymore? I am sure our founding fathers are turning in their graves right now.

Let's be real - the Founders were not saints. If they could have lived until now you know they'd be like politicians today. And there was corruption back then.

They took an idea that they didn't expect to last and made a country. Thomas Jefferson even called the US the "Great Experiment." They thought this would last maybe 50 years. They really didn't think the people could govern themselves.

I don't expect the US as we know it to last too long honestly. I hope I don't live to see it fall but let's be real - it will someday.

It is interesting his supporters claim one thing but then they support his attempts at tyranny.

SFC Kelly Fuerhoff - The founding fathers wrote the constitution to prevent a president like Trump from doing what he has done and what he is trying to do.

He just realizes this is the time he can say that and cause the least amount of political damage to himself.

To be fair to the Republicans, the Democrats opened the door to this in 2017. I know they had their reasons, but it was bound to come back at them with interest, and it has.
