A better overall rifle than the M1, it had some birthing issues. Many of its features were used on later, modern rifles, like the bolt locking and unlocking system.

SPC Kevin Ford I am actually surprised that you had not heard of it before. Like CPL Douglas Chrysler mentions it competed against the M1 Rifle.
