Cash in the pocket or extended bennies? Maybe cash to only those in need vice all. Monthly is a backstop for some, but can be a disincentive to seek work. No job available when unemployment runs out what then? And of course you have some that get more from unemployment than what they would get from a job, and then the job disappears in a number of cases. A never ending cycle.

Conundrum, but we've tackled worse. Easy for me to say, but I still feel their pain.

Both are needed. Stimulus checks are key to helping the business community. Putting cash in the consumers pocket is the best way to help business. The other methods used allow banks to take a cut which means less money getting to business. Of course small businesses have been left out and money in the consumers pockets help them.
