Measles cases put Texas megachurch under scrutiny
NEWARK, Texas (AP) — The teachings of televangelist Kenneth Copeland and his family focusing on the virtues of trusting God to keep healthy are under scrutiny after a cluster of measles cases linked to his family's North Texas megachurch revealed many congregants hadn't been vaccinated against the highly contagious disease.

Faith is personal, we are given the measure of faith yet we are expected to develop our faith through our growth in the Lord and in the Word. Faith doesn't fail, Jesus never said to anyone "I'm sorry, faith has failed you." He did say, however, that a person had no faith, little faith, or even great faith. He also commanded us to learn of Him, to grow into full sons and daughters, putting the responsibility of our spiritual growth squarely on our own shoulders. It's the similar to the responsibility that we have when we attend school, the teacher can't learn for us, it's our responsibility to learn for ourselves and we have the ability to choose if we do or if we don't.
