I am sure by now most of you know that the Arecibo Observatory collapsed partially, then completely... but in this short video, you will see it collapse completely... One minute its hanging in there and the next CRASH!!! Watch FULL SCREEN with sound up! Just posted and only has 117 views at this point... It is one for the History Books, Folks!

There was a great deal of weight on those supporting Cables and strand by strand they gave way until.... The rest is now history!

Indeed, but weather and wear and tear were just to much for the superstructure... Perhaps they will put a different type of Telescope in its place...
