Pardons are an absolute power of the Presidency.
Campaign donations have been ruled by SCOTUS as 1st Amendment protected speech.
Therefore, it is unseemly, but not criminal UNLESS there was some sort of correspondence that says one is in exchange for the other.
For similar cases, check the end of every modern Presidential term. Michael Milken comes to mind.

1SG (Join to see) We don't know any of the specifics. It could even be someone trying to blackmail the POTUS for a pardon, or it could be nothing.

Can be quite serious if this is verified and prosecuted. I do not doubt it at all given the persisting criminality of this Administration.

Two completelly different beliefs by two leftists in the same thread. SPC Kevin Ford may not like Trump, but at least he's intellectually honest in his response to this article when responding to MSG Joseph Cristofaro's post. Does hatred drive your ability to reason?

SPC Kevin Ford Well at least they're making a Show of It. At least trying to show they haven't been thoroughly corrupted by the Trump Administration.
