President Trump: We will never be a socialist country

We can only hope, but as President Reagan once said “We are just one generation away....”(paraphrased)

We already are a "socialist country!" Social security, for heavens sake. Veterans' Affairs, for goodness sakes. All things "public," such as public libraries. Public fire and police departments. Public highways. So, we are all "socialists."

We already ARE "a socialist country." We have public libraries, public police forces, public fire departments, public education, "the common defense," social security, medicare, medicaid, regulatory agencies such as the USDA, the FFA, etc. To say that we are not a socialist country is misleading.
