This is an incredible story. I was taken aback but some very valid points about disagreeing and still respecting each other. Will say though, the one issue that wasn’t addressed was whether the Klansman he became friends with would ever defend the legacy of lynching by the KKK. I’d be interesting to know just how deep some of their ideological discussions got at times.
