SGT Gregory Lawritson - We have been to Kukkiwon. Katelyn finished fifth in the Kimunyong Cup International Open Taekwondo Championships in Seoul last year and was seriously disappointed in her performance. Her bio-mom subpoena both me and Katelyn's coach into court on the day she competed in Seoul. After weighing her in, I had to catch the next thing smoking to be back in court for a hearing that was cancelled after I arrived in the courtroom. Her coach was the head coach of the AAU National Team, Master Greg Tubbs. Katelyn was crushed that her Dad and her coach couldn't be there with her. Not to be outsmarted, my wife, Katelyn's step-mom, was there which nearly drove bio-mom insane with jealousy. Master Tubbs arranged for Dennis Kim to coach her in Seoul. Master Kim was the head coach of the 2016 US Olympic taekwondo team in Rio. To make matters worse, Katelyn was to compete in Amman, Jordan a few weeks later, and bio-mom was ordered to have her there. She failed to comply and contempt charges are still pending against bio-mom. Katelyn refuses to even take bio-mom's calls.
