LaBron James high school friend’s sister was killed, Ericka Weems. It is very upsetting to Mr James. It is sad when a life is taken. Pray for the Weems family and friends as they struggle through this sad situation. The murder will most likely be resolved by the police. The point of the poem is people who do tough jobs are often under appreciated until needed. Maybe defunding the police, disparaging them etc isn’t the best strategy. It is like discrimination against soldiers in England, until they are required. Yes police have been asked to leave resturants, barred from Gyms etc. and are discriminated against, insulted etc while trying to do a tough job!
