I believe you are right it is 12B or at least it used to be back when I was in. I was a 52B back in 1992 and back then part of our training was with 12B instructors for use of TNT, blast cord, C4 and different ways to use them, then we transitioned to land mine clearance etc before going to our actual MOS training. Fun times, but I don't think they add that to the MOS anymore since the came up with EOD.
