I'll keep this really simple.
The Dems grew their majority in 2018 on the back of Trump backlash and putting forward moderate candidates that could win in tossup districts.
What they did with that is message things that weren't going to happen like the Green New Deal and things that were wildly unpopular like defund the police. With narratives like that, it is no wonder that several of those moderates lost this cycle.

SPC Mark Huddleston I wouldn't go that far but I think it's time Pelosi an McConnell step down. Let someone a little younger take over. I mean isnt nancy the oldest politician on Capitol now? She's 80.

The only way that will happen is the go the way of RBG. Calif is a 1 party state with times Dems are running against each other instead of Rep and Dem. top 2 vote getters in the primary go to the general election
