As long as he wasn't hurting anything or leaving garbage behind they should have let him continue if for not other reason being innovative! Seriously, I could see him telling the guy he can't do that but to ban him is going to far (in my opinion).

I would like to counter your remark. It is well posted to keep out for several good reasons. One of which is personal safety due serious injuries, and several deaths, to stupid people like him. Second is damage to the spring itself. Stupid people like him have no regard for the scenic beauty leaving trash that others have to go in (remember personal safety) and clean up. There are WAY too many who feel exempt, entitled, or anti-whatever only thinking of themselves. Corrective and detergent measures are very appropriate.
