Let me tell you the cluster I had with my county in my HOR...
I emailed the county treasurer 1 Sep. He tells me I was removed from their records when I moved 2 years ago. I said hmm...I'm active duty for 16 years and this has been my legal residence the whole time. And I've voted in every election during that time minus 2012 because I didn't know where I might be so no address.
He sends a military request voter form on 2 Sept. I sent it back 18 Sept. Asked if there was anything else. No answer...and no answer. 13 Oct follow up email with the form attached again. No answer. I emailed last Sat. Then Mon. Now he says that they never received my form that he sent on 2 Sept so they didn't send a ballot.
I said well I emailed you twice and here are the emails. I emailed yesterday did you get my emails? He said then that they looked up my voter registration from 2016 and for some reason mailed something to my old address from then. It got returned - obviously. He already knew I moved due to PCS. Then said that the Sec State office said since I'm not in the county remove me. I said wait - how could you look up my registration if I was removed and why did you mail anything to Nebraska when you knew I had moved 2 years ago?
I kind of came off like a bitch but I was frustrated. Then yesterday I get a ballot to fill out and send back - and he said they email all the military ballots because mail is slow.
So it worked out but it's still very confusing how I even got removed from their system at all after 16 years on active duty. This guy isn't the same treasurer as 4 years ago or before that but still. It's messed up even if it worked out.

Just wondering why military times used a picture of God only knows how old based on ACUs!

The uniform is still called the ACU (Army Combat Uniform). Those are UCP pattern.
