I saw this, very exciting but there is a tradeoff. Instead of needing extreme cold you need extreme pressure (like measured in Gigapascals which is huge!). Progress is progress though. If we could make superconductors that didn't require extremes then we could change everything. Energy would be much cheaper among everything else like floating trains and cars. Anything with an electronic circuit could become almost infinitely more efficient.
Couple this with some of the advances in Graphene and there could be big changes. Until then though, the pressure is on. (had to!)

All about the Q factor, resonance. Ceramic bearings were a near game changer to a degree. 100% efficiency still eludes us. Guess they'll be making tires for a bit longer. I remember when a 1 farad cap was a room filler almost. Now they are cheap and sold to car audio buffs. I'm waiting for wireless power grid. That's a Nobel Prize for sure. Thanks.
