Hours before Donald Trump’s arrival in Michigan and Wisconsin, both states reported record-setting single-day coronavirus case counts.
Michigan officials reported that Friday saw the state’s highest-ever single-day coronavirus case count, topping at least 2,015 infections.
Yesterday’s case count marked the second consecutive day that Michigan saw more than 2,000 confirmed cases.
In Wisconsin, cases topped a record single-day high of 4,041 confirmed cases, according to the states’s Department of Health Services. The state saw three consecutive days with at least 3,000 cases.
