You can see the desperation in those states as wealthy citizens with the means to do so are finally fed up and leave to other, more tax-friendly jurisdictions. We'll see how well their policies work without cash cows to milk.

It isn't just the wealthy. People are leaving like rats deserting a sinking ship. What really gets me wound up is the dems holding up the stimulus because they want to bail out these states. Having lived in Connecticut I know how they get themselves so in debt. The fat pensions is a huge part of it. If you work for the government you should not be able to have union representation. If those states are bailed out they will just end up in the red again in a couple of years.

SSgt Ray Stone - You see Ray, what Trump is referencing is the Dem's demand for state and local aid in the stimulus package. They want it because those state's budgets are collapsing. In the case of Illinois, it has been going on for some time. Same with California.
