One last Eddie Van Halen video. Producer Quincey Jones wanted a rock guitar solo in Beat It and ask Perter Townsend to do it. He was busy but recommended Van Halen. Eddie recorded two versions, and Michael Jackson selected one and thanked Eddie for caring enough to improve the song. Eddie asked for, and received, a case of beer, the only compensation he wanted for doing the job. Eddie's section starts at the 3:00 minute mark and runs for about 40 seconds.
