This has happened time after time. Both under Republican control and under Democrat control. "Packing the court" is a reference to increasing the current number of sitting judges not filling a vacancy. The Dems are using this term as a tactic to confuse and hide their agenda. Their intent is to pack the court in order to overcome what will be a conservative court if Judge Barrett is confirmed. By adding more, liberal, judges the Dems can overcome the constitutionalists with their ideological agenda.

MSG Joseph Cristofaro thanks for writing how justices can be removed. This also suggests that a president could just leave a vacancy, if one occurred, and reduce that way as well. Would that be correct?

MSG Joseph Cristofaro they are the party of dirty tricks. Look at what has been happening for the last four years. Then to find out they were the ones who colluded with Russia. It's infuriating.
You can go back to the Clinton presidency. They still insist he was impeached because he had an affair with an intern. He was impeached because he lied to a grand jury and the American people.
Look at what they have done/are doing to Republican Supreme Court nominees. There's Bork, Thomas, Kavanaugh and soon we'll be adding Barrett to that list soon.

MSG Joseph Cristofaro unfortunately if Biden is elected he is just a seat filler and signature for the dems to pass whatever they want. That is if they take the senate.
I believe the polls are wrong just like they were in the last election. Let's hope the Republicans take back the house (with all the nonsense that's gone on it can't this not happening), keep the senate and keep the presidency. If not all at least the first or the last two.

Obama arrogantly said” elections have consequences “ when Republicans sought compromise etc. Obama also said, “win a few elections”. Well now that Republicans have won elections and Democrats face the consequences of won elections the Democrats sure don’t like it! I have never seen worse losers in my life!

Yet Trump has managed to do what other Presidents have said couldn't be done while having to navigate their minefield of bull****. They hate that even more. He's been nominated for two Nobel Peace Prizes. If he wins their heads will explode! After reading the list of requirements he deserves one, unlike Obama. What amazes me is politicians in other countries respect him but ours on the left don't. Foreign leaders have criticized some of his actions and then months later have followed his example and done the same. He has proven that running the government like a business reaps success.
