Why the Pentagon Should Focus on Taiwan - War on the Rocks

Thank you my friend SSG Robert Mark Odom for posting an interesting perspective. I can't comment too much based on debriefings. However I think the USA should recognize Taiwan as an independent nation - that would be a shot over communist China's bow and a major boost to morale on Taiwan. Taiwan has survived with our assistance and military 'cover'
