The facts surrounding the death of Breonna Taylor have been verified and accepted into evidence. Sadly, there seems to be no tolerance for justice. Only vengeance will sate the blood appetites of the BLM community. No, I purposely didn't say black community inasmuch as the vast majority of those I've seen in videos demonstrating under the BLM banner are white. Yes, I understand that what I see in videos on the Internet may not reflect reality and am open to evidence to the contrary. However, I have to wonder why contrary evidence wasn't presented in court. Why is it that the recent events that have stirred such passions have largely involved shootings of criminals either engaged in criminal acts or resisting arrest. In this case, Breonna and her confederate in drug dealing resisted arrest, her boyfriend going so far as to shoot a police officer, and this minister of faith can't comprehend that this wasn't murder? Obviously, I don't understand his attitude and would appreciate some explanation. No, no explanation is required. I'm no one of any special note, but if he wants to influence the public and gain our support, some explanation is required.

MSG Stan Hutchison - The sad truth is that just because something is a tragedy doesn't mean it is a crime. And apparently the city is paying for it, to the tune of $12mil.

PO3 Mark Johnson - I dislike the precedent set by paying those huge numbers, but that still does not, in my mind, equal justice.

MSG Stan Hutchison - I agree 100%, and I would guess that most people would choose their loved ones over the money, if they could.

MSG Stan Hutchison - she was NOT asleep in her bed. Her boyfriend is on multiple videos saying they were both wide awake. There is even video of him saying to police at the scene that she was the one that fired. That same video does also support his claims that they did not clearly identify themselves before attempting entry, as LMPD has claimed. Guess they should have been wearing body cameras. But she was not savagely and callously murdered in her bed while she slept, which is the narrative being pushed.
