While deaths are near 190,000 Trump brags the DJ Industrials went up 37 points that day. He knows his priorities.
Trumpers blame COVID-19 for the economic shutdown, but Japan did not shutdown and they only have 1,500 deaths. What is the difference? The Japanese government took it seriously and started planning and ordering supplies and tests in February. Trump lied about the pandemic for a few weeks and the US started to plan sometime in March. At that point the US had 2000 "counted" cases and the pandemic was out of control, not to mention our horrible tests that did not work.
Trumpers say he planned early and robustly. Bullshit. We ran out of PPEs, and our testing ability was horrific. Who would have known about the pandemic? Well obviously the Japanese were a month ahead of Trump and his administration and knew something, or does it matter that the Japanese Prime Minister did not lie about the pandemic?
