Big mistake, I worked at Ft. Jackson as Cadre and the problems are too many, mix them in AIT.

Had mixed unit basic and AIT. There were no problems, especially in basic where there is no free time or personal freedom.
Was in an all male battery and then a mixed one. The only difference was that in the all male one there were dirtier jokes and (at Ft Irwin) some guys who thought pants were optional. At the end of the day I didn’t see any problems with mixed training or unit.

SPC (Join to see) - Back in 2005 to 2007 Ft. Jackson had plenty of problems, mostly privates having sex problems. One unit found 6 different couples having sex, The poor commander lost his command because of it.

SSG (Join to see) That sucks. I guess they learned their lessons. My basic was locked down tighter than a chastity belt.

Maybe they did, just glad I was not in that company. I ran the ranges for BRM and you would be surprised what those Drill Sergeants would tell you when they come out with the ammo detail.
