Will Going To A Movie Ever Be The Same? Yes And No.

Used to go the movies all the time. I enjoyed it and then it just got so expensive and filled with people who ruined the experience.

Now I prefer my own tv and couch with a good surround sound system.

I really enjoyed amazon putting some movies that were going to be in theaters on amazon for a more expensive rental price. I think movie companies if they were smart would embrace this idea. Release a movie into theaters and at the same time release them to a premium streaming company such as amazon prime or fandango and just make them more expensive to rent say $20 for 24 hour rental. That would be about the same as a cost of 2 adult tickets to a theater to watch the same movie.

Covid has made a lot of industries have to change the way they do things. It’s going to be seen as one of the most pivotal paradigm shifts our generation will ever see and it’s time for some of these industries to adapt or die.

I stopped going to movie theaters about 8 years ago. Something I can live without.
