All I can say is, "WOW". With all the OPSEC and COMSEC being constantly shoved down our throats, how could this even be an option for someone; ESPECIALLY an ITC? The sad part is, I was stationed at STRATCOM and taught IT Security courses for the Navy at Damneck (20ish mins from Portsmouth). Both places stress security. However, to do it at STRATCOM is super brazen. You're IT how did you think you weren't getting caught with all the protections in place? Who did he think came up with the programs in conjunction with DISA? They wrote the WARNORD and deployment guidelines for the HBSS program and all IT is intimately familiar with that. Come on Chief... DLP, CASB, etc, etc.... and any bypasses/events are logged and displayed on huge screens in the SOC. ::facepalm::
Though I don't know what would drive someone to even consider that, I cant believe someone could be so stupid.
