First, contributions to the NRA are not considered charitable. They are not a 501 c.

The NRA is a 501(c)(4). The NRA Foundation is a 501(c)(3). Both are tax exempt, non-profit.

They are not charitable. I was specifically told that when I got my Lifetime Membership. I had to acknowledged that fact before they would process my Membership
