I know quote 13 very well. I was a Marine station on Okinawa 61-63. I met my future wife their but the Marines didn't want a 21 year old Cpl. Getting married to an Okinawan girl, so when my time was up I came back to the states and got discharged. I joined the Army 2 wks. later. I started the paperwork and 18 months later I took a 30 day leave went back to Okinawa and got Married. We have been married 56 years. I am and will always consider myself a Marine but sometimes you do what you have to do. Semper Fi.

I can relate, the military in general has the same attitude. I married my French/Vietnamese pen pal as a USAF Staff Sgt. in 71' after 2.5 tours in RVN. The application package had 24 attachments to it. We've known each other for 53 years and have been married for 51 of them.
