Issue of PPE and supply chain is bad on both sides. PPE made overseas can be cheaper, but US is at the mercy of a foreign supply chain. PPE made domestically is available more, but will cost more to manufacture. While returning to reusable PPE could reduce costs, disposable is safer for medical workers.

Consider the issue of isolation, PPE and best practices. Isolation directly implies resource from within your bubble.
Preparation: warehouse the materials, machines and equipment needed to produce and meet requirements. Include operational support to ensure minimal fupableness! Train annually. Verify operators.
