SPC Randy Zimmerman - and PO3 Phyllis Maynard. I knew almost immediately I couldn't recognize anyone, even my own mother. But I hid it from the world for 13 years because I was afraid the gentlemen with the clean white coats and giant butterfly net would come after me. Now I embrace it. Think about it, I don't have to deal with such pesky hindrances the rest of you see -- such as ethnicity or how society defines beauty. Eat your hearts out.

SPC Randy Zimmerman - Yes, that conveniently fastened in the back. Because I had never heard of the condition, I jumped to the conclusion that I had lost my mind. Not just part of it. LOL By the way, when I came out of my coma they did indeed have my right arm tied to the side rail of the bed. It was the only extremity that worked, so they didn't need a straight jacket. The problem was as I started to come of of the coma, I kept ripping the tubes out of my chest, nose and throat. I guess I didn't much care to have them in me. It took me three days to pull a Houdini and set myself free.
