SSgt Richard Kensinger while I appreciate the offer, I see things differently. If you look at this from a business perspective Trump is making deals and his employees (the intelligence community) are creating a very public hoopla disrupting his continuous negotiations with Putin. Trump needs to maintain a somewhat cordial relationship with Putin and XI as heads of the other 2 super powers on the planet. The public release of intelligence information and the outrage from the left and the media makes it difficult to maintain a relationship (that is needed if we are to accomplish anything) with Russia. None of this means that he does not privately believe the intelligence data, just that openly warring with Putin shuts down opportunities for advancement in other areas. To back up my claims and dispute the “Trump is Putin’s puppet” narrative I look at the actions this administration has taken against Russia. The administration has taken over 52 administrative actions against Russia (report from the Brookings institute, On the record: The U.S. administration’s actions on Russia) and armed the Ukraines.
