CDR Moore was commissioned through the University of San Diego NROTC program in May 2000. She began her naval career in Surface Warfare with afloat assignments that include Communications Officer/EKMS Manager onboard USS BENFOLD (DDG-65); N3A for Amphibious Squadron THREE (CPR-3) in support of the maiden deployment for Expeditionary Strike Group ONE (ESG-1); and White House Liaison Officer for the Secretary of the Navy.
She transferred to Cryptology in 2005 and was assigned to Navy Information Operations Command (NIOC) Maryland in 2006. While assigned, she supported forward-deployed cryptologic units in Afghanistan, deployed as a Cryptologic Support Team OIC to East Baghdad, and served within the NSA’s Combined Military Planning and Access Strategies (CoMPAS) Office as the Targeting Officer and Branch Chief supporting USSOCOM, USNORTHCOM, and USSOUTHCOM planning efforts. She also served the President and First Lady as a White House Social Aide from 2006-2010.
