Here we go again. Of course the Democrats want 2 more guaranteed seats in the Senate. Can anyone provide any valid reason for this effort? If there is a need to give equal representation to those who live in the District of Calamity, cede the land back to Maryland.

Yes, call it a part of Maryland, agree. DC is already bloated enough without having a state government (with of course, more taxes and more control).
