My late/Adored father, the Hon. James Sloane Higgins, would have wanted prayers to be said in schools. SGT (Join to see)

C’mon Sir, I have no problem starting the day on a positive note. I think everyone in the world would want the same including yourself.

It was a good ruling as public schools shouldn't engage that is the morass of conflicting religious beliefs. Monotheists, polytheists, atheists, you just can't please everyone. It's important to note that the plaintiffs here were Jewish, so even within Abrahamic religions we couldn't get consensus on what would be a good wording for school prayer.

PVT Mark Zehner I never really understood the pushback on a moment of silent meditation. That seemed like an ideal solution.

SPC Kevin Ford - Because in school," a moment of silent meditation" turns into pressure to pray.

MSG Stan Hutchison - Got it. I suppose it could be misused by some teachers.
