Great article sir, very true we need to restore a common order, so the country can heal, and move forwards.

Exactly. We all agree that George Floyd's death was tragic and the MPLS police involved need to be charged and tried for their crimes. The looting and riots only take us away from that solidarity.

Colonel Lenertz -
I don't know that this article could have been written any better than it is.
What happened to this citizen, was not only criminal (as crimes occur in varying degrees of severity) but this crime was particularly and uniquely despicable. That the public would become outraged by it is a foreseeable outcome seemingly lost on this officer who has placed an indelible black mark on his department and irreparably damaged his personal and professional reputation which, we can suppose will mean little to him during his prison stay. Yet there is another aspect to this the writer barely touches on, that is the very real influence of outside agitators who brought violence into an already incendiary situation and spread it across this country, city by city.
Federal law enforcement has a duty to ferret out these anarchists and the courts need to deal with them, severely. Not only those actively participating but more importantly and urgently, those sponsoring and directing them from a distance who should be bearing the greatest weight of the law.
Thank you for posting what might not otherwise find the light of day but for sites like RP.
Have a great day!
