Why didn't we have a pandemic when I was in high school? I would've loved this. Granted, we didn't have the Internet back then. Hell, we didn't have microcomputers, but we had books and books worked fine for me. I am an autodidact. School, as Louis L'Amour famously said, "...only provides an outline of knowledge. It's up to each student to fill in the blanks for themselves." That's really hard to do when you're stuck in school all day, especially today, stuck with a bunch of Leftists only interested in indoctrinating students. To be fair, "autodidactry" isn't for everyone. (Yes, I just made that up and it should be a word) Few have the discipline and drive to learn without someone herding them through the process. Interestingly, my granddaughters have been going to school for half days since long before the pandemic visited. They're all dancers and spend half of every day, everyday, in the studio practicing. (Since the pandemic, they've been taking dance classes on line) The other half of their academic classes have been in virtual classes (and they're straight "A" students)...
