When people are convinced by a conman to follow the con, it's difficult for them to see anything else.

Hindsight is 20/20. Now we get a Conman, well liked by many for the last 50 years, who is telling us in his Propaganda that POTUS is 100% at fault and that we knew we could have put up the travel barriers one week sooner. I respectfully disagree. I am not contesting your disenchantment for some of his behavior, I just think in this instance, the Democrats, especially Pelosi and the New York Officials were more worried about perception and identity politics. I, for one, call it the Chinese Corona Virus or the Chinese Communist Party Virus as the Falung Gong calls it. I can give a damn about racism. I have been told it comes from Europe. Yes, there are mutations but the CCP virus did not spawn from 2 or more places at once. The Chinese continue to say it was planted by US Army Personnel. I am not Racist. I support Taiwan and freedom loving Chinese. We all need to take responsibility for letting this virus get in the USA.

Capt Gregory Prickett - This is a bitter pill. Some States were already in financial imbalance before this all hit. While doing my job, I listen to NPR stories of Planned Parenthood and others that got money but not small businesses that need it. It is a mess. This has a lot of rich entities taking advantage while the small Mom and Pop suffer. I am still trying to grasp it all. I can't answer for POTUS and Congress. It was a catch 22. I just hope we don't get in a war with Russia, Iran or China to make it worse...

LTC (Join to see) - What democrats were worried about "racism"? Do Democrats run the government right now? Are you implying Trump's actions are dictated or controlled by what Democrats do? If the President, the leader of the country was saying it was no big deal and that it would not be a problem in America, then how are Democrats wrong for encouraging people to come out.... Unless you feel the Democrats didn't do enough to call attention to the President's mistakes and missteps. They may have been under the impression that there was competent leadership in the White House... but that would be stretch because everyone knows there isn't. I just don't think they realized the level of incompetence.

MSgt Steve Sweeney Like I said, I'm not shying away from what the president didn't do. But controlling the piece of the pie that the New York State officials had, they did not have a sense of urgency. It comes from Fox, Many will not reflect with what the democrats in New York City actually said. Start listing from one minute and 1 second on.. I have both a Democrat but I still can't get through some democrats are afraid to look at opposing viewpoints. I'm not afraid of look at your stuff but I won't name names but I have asked other Democrats to evaluate a video from prager and all the say it's propaganda. I have had better luck on Facebook debate the hate page where I asked a Democrat to review one of prey gers left versus liberal videos and he had the courage to watch it and told me that some of what Dennis prager is points were correct and others were totally incorrect. I find very few progressives who are willing to look at other points of view like it's going to violate their dogma and their religion. I don't work like that, I don't care as from the socialistcworkers party Article or from something from a different political affiliation, I will look at it. Even though fact checker.org is great and snopes.com Is helpful, I can make up my own mind and use them as a backstop off if I feel like it.

LTC (Join to see) - See, Tucker (0:33) asks a loaded question, essentially why would "NY Leaders" increase the risks to their citizens? ... and then he gives you an answer - the answer he wants you to have, installing his mindset in you, "because they were worried about being called racist". This is the answer he gives you. He doesn't offer anything supporting his claim about their motive, he just plays back what they said after telling you (what he says) their motive for saying it was. It is an old trick, but an effective one. An no point in the entire clip does Tucker provide anything that backs up his claim of why they said what they did. What factors they were considering... but he has you attributing it to racism, just like he wanted you to.

Was it wise to do so at that point in time? That is another issue. But that isn't the issue Tucker was addressing. Tucker was making assertions about, and attributing motive - not what they said, but why they said it. You see how he is playing you here?

But what you missed is the very same argument can be used to the very same result against Trump.

In the case of Cuomo, we literally have a signed order and lots of grieving families with an axe to grind.
That is tough to overcome.
