Those subs can do it forever, minus food, basically. Swapping crews for 3 months at a time doesn't seem bad honestly.
Think about the WW2 diesel boats that had 10-14 plus war patrols. Not 30 months straight, but the majority of it in actual contested territory with an enemy actively trying to kill them!
