'A Lot To Be Hopeful For': Crisis Seen As Historic, Not Another Great Depression

I think a lot will depend on inflation control once things settle down. Many of the move made to address the economy are very inflationary in nature.

I think the moderating variables are:

- Can we develop a vaccine.
- Is reinfection possible?
- Can we lower the cases and deaths.

I think the pandemic will spike in a few weeks as we open states. This will be horrible for the economy. I really sympathize with those who will be financially ruined by the pandemic. Businesses will not rehire carte blanche. They will rehire when profits justify it.
