No knock warrants come with unknown risks. From the information given, it looks rather suspect to me. Cover up maybe? Who can say? I will wait until all information is revealed before coming down on one side or the other.

I am not a big fan of no nock warrants unless we are talking about a major criminal kingpin of some sort. I don't put these two in that category. Criminals perhaps but not worth the loss of life.

It sounds like they had a "no knock" warrant but knocked anyway. If you force your way into my house at 0024 through any door for any reason you will get shot, period. No one is welcome in my house unless I let them in. If you force your way in, warrant or not, you are unwelcomed.

There are a lot of unknowns in this still. Why didn't the cops just take them down away from home during broad daylight? They were clearly watching them. There must have been many opportunities to do so. It seems an entry into a house at that hour creates the potential for an armed altercation.
