Rep. Bobby Rush on how his bill would address the "modern-day lynching" of Ahmaud Arbery

The kid was murdered, not lynched. Throwing racially charged language into it doesn't make your case stronger.

The local police screwed this up badly. I have always thought that whenever the police shoot someone it should be reviewed by a panel of citizens selected the same way as you select folks for jury duty. The review the shoot and decide if it was good one or the officer screwed up. Why let the fox investigate the hen house.

Lynching may be the right word but assassination fits better. He was not prominent but his skin color is political.
