Yep. Either the Conservatives on SCOTUS either uphold rule of law or set precedent for all future presidencies to be viewed as authoritarian (above the law). There’s one other possibility: they could protect Trump but the moment a Democrat assumes office they won’t hide their hypocrisy since they sit in lifetime appointments.
