I recently flew back stateside from my home in Asia. I saw 4 airports enroute, BKK, DOH, ORD & IND. Of the four, BKK was most prepared and enforced social distancing with all staff masked and gloved. DOH had all staff in masks and many but not all gloved up. Social distancing was being observed but not strictly enforced. ORD had most staff in masks but ALL were gloves. IND was 50-50 on mask and glove enforcement.
The airline, Qatar, had all crew in masks and gloves, airplanes were disinfected at each stop. Passengers were few with room to commandeere a row of seats to lie down and rest.
Long damn trip too with BKK to DOH at 7.6 hours with 2 on ground. Then 14 hours DOH to ORD w/4.5 on the ground and lastly ORD to IND 20 minutes. From wake up in BKK to bed in Indy, 47 hours and change. I'm glad I only need to endure this every 3-4 years.
